Despite the relentless crisis that has hit the furniture and machinery sectors for some years now, the latest edition of Fimma Maderalia, held between 2 and 5 February at the Valencia Trade Fair Premises, pointed to a major recovery in the national market. The sector has re-emerged forcefully following the crisis of 2008.
The Simsa (Servicios Informáticos Mecanizaciones S.A) company, about to celebrate its 30th anniversary, has always stood out by offering the best solutions to the sector, driven by its commitment to creativity and innovation.
20 years ago, Simsa pioneered the creation of the TEOWIN modular software, which continues to lead the market by delivering the tools that sector professionals need to design 3D environments. It can manage the entire factory and coordinate all orders…even special furniture. We are talking about the most comprehensive and specialised ERP on the market.
Simsa’s manager, Jordi Fuertes, explains that “the crisis has been very tough, but we have continued to do our utmost to bring good ideas and interesting features to the sector. Our greatest hope: the update of our Teowin software, the empowerment of creativity and innovation”.
TEOWIN 9.0: NEW GRAPHICS ENGINE
In the course of Fimma Maderalia, there was great anticipation among all the attendees to get a first-hand look at the new version of Teowin, which will be available on the market this spring.
One of the most important new features of Teowin 9.0 is the export module to the new graphics engine, which has the capacity to navigate in real time and in render quality, in other words, it is 100% photorealistic. Furthermore, Teowin 9.0 boosts its spectacular project presentation capacity even further through the ‘Day&Night’ option. This function features incredible lighting effects with “a life of their own”, which summarise the 24 hours of the day in 1 minute, thus presenting the design with all the light effects that are possible in real life. OUR TEOSTeowin is Simsa’s star product, but it is thanks to the huge portfolio of customers that it has both at home and abroad, that it constantly expands and complements the different applications: Teoweb Plus + (online quotations), Teoweb Site Service (the manufacturers’ Extranet), and Teoweb Planner (online 3D design), according to requests received and technological innovation. |
The Distribution Manager, Robert Fuertes, said that “the sector’s economic reactivation is patent at this latest edition of Maderalia. It is the trade fair that has attracted the greatest number of visitors, we have invoiced 40% more and generated more than 1,000 contacts in the course of the 4-day event“.
